Our experience with the Nature's Secret Super Colon Cleanse formula was a good one. The product is gentle enough as to not cause stomach discomfort in our use. However Nature's Secret is effective enough so that you only need to take one tablet per day to begin with. Each successive night increase by one tablet until you have two to three bowel movements per day. When a loose stool is experienced, simply drop back one tablet. It is important not to exceed 6 tablets per day. In addition this formula contains 13 different herbs so there is a possibility it may cause some stomach discomfort in others, if this is the case, discontinue use and if you are so inclined try another product.

As you have read in our introduction the verdict is very unclear as to whether colon cleansing works to the bodies benefit. In fact some medical professionals feel the practice may be harmful. That being said our feeling is moderation, after a few days of multiple regular bowel movements, our staffer reported increased energy and a general improved feeling of wellness.

The Health Plus was an effective colon cleansing product though it took longer to produce a first bowel movement than Nature's Secret, however once bowel movements were first produced they were regular. One potentially advantageous attribute to the Health Plus product is it's pure psyllium husk blend. This may allow those to have success with this product who have had stomach discomfort with other cleansers that have multiple ingredients.

The direction as indicated on product packaging are: Individuals who lack sufficient fiber in their diet may take 5-6 capsules (approx 3.5 grams) with at least 8 ounces of water, juice or your favorite beverage daily. Children (6-12 yrs): 1/2 the adult dosage up to 3 times daily. If minor gas or bloating occur, reduce the amount you take to allow your system to adjust.
